• Building your own personalized MyKleenexTissue Oval tissue carton is a quick and easy process. Follow the steps below for best results.
  • Step 1. Choose a background
  • Getting started is easy – from anywhere on the Web site, just click on the “Create Your Custom Box” button in the left side navigation. Or, from the Home page, you can also click the orange “Get Started” button.

  • Step 2. Add a photo
  • You have lots of options to customize your Oval. They include:

    • Choose a Background – select from dozens of backgrounds that will wrap around the entire area of the Oval tissue carton. Note that certain designs in the Design Gallery may not allow you to change or modify the background.
    • Add Personal Photos & Picture Frames – use the “Add Photos & Frames” tool to place photos on your oval design. Then you can use the “Add Fitted Frame” feature to put a picture frame around your photo. If you want to place several photos within a single frame, add a frame to the canvas first, then you can place whatever you would like within it.

We suggest following these guidelines to achieve the best quality oval design:

Size 4” x 6” landscape photos work best to “fill” the front or back on the Oval.
Image Resolution 300 dpi is the recommended resolution – a 4” x 6” photo at 300 dpi would be 1200 pixels tall by 1800 pixels wide
Format .JPG and .PNG file formats are acceptable
Color Color or black and white photos are fine, but note that the quality of your original photo determines the quality of how it will look on the final oval carton. So if your photo colors are washed out or unbalanced, it will look the same way in the finished product.
Acceptable Usage Photos or images that are licensed properties that you do not have the rights to use will not be accepted. This includes (but is not limited to) logos or images from sports teams, company logos or trademarks that you do not have rights to, and trademarked or copyrighted materials of any kind, such as mascots, movie characters, celebrity likenesses, etc.
    • Add Artwork & Decorations – you may add artwork from our collection of clipart and decorative elements, or upload and add original artwork, following the same guidelines for photographic images. If you have a scanner, using children’s drawings or other original, creative pieces of art are great ways to create a truly unique, one-of-a-kind tissue oval carton.
    • Add Text & Messages – add a message from the gallery of available options, or type a completely custom message yourself using the “Create Your Own” message tool. You can type any message you choose, change its font style, bold, italicize or underline it. Then select from dozens of different type colors. Please note that objectionable language such as foul, abusive, vulgar, sexually explicit, obscene, hateful, threatening, harassing and/or defamatory words will not be accepted.
    • Select a Lid Color – there are several lid colors to choose from. If you don’t choose a lid color, the standard or default lid color is black.
  • Step 3. Adjust the photo
  • As you add the various elements to your personal design, you have several tools available to help you make things look just the way you want. Don't be afraid to play and experiment with these tools – if something happens that you don’t really like, you can just click “Undo”

    • Rotate Left & Rotate Right – click these controls to turn and rotate the element (e.g. photograph, artwork, message, etc.) as much or as little as you would like
    • Move Forward & Move Backward – these controls allow you to change the “layer” order of elements. For example – if a photograph is in front of a piece of clipart, select the clipart and then choose “Move Forward”. Now the clipart will be in front of / on top of the picture frame element.
    • Duplicate – this control will make an exact duplicate or copy of the element
    • Remove – removes or deletes the element from the design canvas area. Once an element is removed, the only ways to add it back are – clicking Undo (only works if used immediately after removing the element) – or – repeating the original steps used to add the element in the first place.
    • Guides & Guidelines – to help you position and align elements on your oval, there are a series of labels and indicators across the top of the design canvas – “Center of Oval – FRONT”; OVAL CURVE (the shaded area down the middle of the design area); and “Center of Oval – BACK”. These labels are there to help you distinguish the front, back and curved sides area of the oval carton.
    • To turn off the guides and see your design without them, click the “Hide Guides” control. To turn them back on, click on the “Show Guides” control (in the same location as Hide Guides).

    • Step 4. Add clipart
    • You can see a preview of your Oval design in 3D at anytime, we suggest you review it at least once as a final step before ordering or sharing. The “Click for Preview” control will launch a new window with an animated, 3D preview displaying all sides of your Oval carton as it would print out.

    • Step 5. Add picture frames
    • Once you have your Oval design near completion, you have a number of different options:

Then you can always return later to complete them. For oval designs that you want to save, but have not ordered, you are limited to 10 total designs you may save.
